Event Sanctioning

Step 1

Send in an Expression of Interest Form prior to sanctioning your event to ensure the date has been pre-approved by the AFA.

Step 2

Set up your club through the Club Sanctioning form prior to sanctioning your event.

Step 3

Sanction your event through the Event Sanctioning form by following the Information Guide.

Use the Tournament Template to create your event with correct information.

 

Ensure all correct license rules are placed in each category. Email info@2mev.com to add rules for other Provincial Organization license equivalents.

Step 4

Await AFA and 2MEV approval of your event.

Step 5

Sign Local Host Agreement (link to be attached) and return to info@fencing.ab.ca.

Note: Submit all required sanctioning documents prior to the deadlines for submission. These must be finalized and approved by the AFA 30 days prior to the event.
