Athlete Development Program - AFA

Athlete Development program participants were to be selected on June 1st, but due to the delay in posting of results from Nationals, selection was done today. Invites will be sent out next Monday. Please review the Rankings and also the new AD program policy for 2013/14.
Results and Rankings - AFA

Results from Nationals have been uploaded and Rankings updated accordingly. Please check your results and report any errors to the head office immediately.
Athlete travel reimbursement - AFA

Athlete travel reimbursement cheques were sent out today. If you've submitted your receipts before June 1st and you don't receive the cheque by Friday, please email ed@fencing.ab.ca.

Athlete development program invites and athlete support cheques, both scheduled to be sent out on June 1st, are being postponed until the official results from National Championships are posted by the CFF and AFA rankings updated accordingly. Apologies for any inconvenience this may cause!
Edmonton Veteran Cup 30+, Jun 08, 2013 - AFA

To encourage participation, the no-late-registration-fee deadline is extended to midnight Jun 05 (Wednesday). Those who were charged late registration fee after the previous deadline (Jun 01) will be reimbursed at the competition. VETERAN FENCING COMPETITIONS IN JUNE 2013 - AFA

Two Veteran fencing competitions will be held in the first half of June 2013: CAN-AM Cup [40+], Toronto, Jun 01-02 (registration deadline May 24, 2013); and EDMONTON Cup [30+], Edmonton, Jun 08 - registration deadline Jun 01, 2013. Both are major and unique veteran fencing events in Canada and Alberta, respectively. Consider participation!
Canada Games Summer Camp 2013 - AFA

In preparation for the upcoming Canada Summer Games the AFA is organizing a summer camp in Calgary, July 21-27, at Mount Royal University. All Junior athletes are welcome! For more information please see here, and to download the registration form click here. A limited number of spots are available, so register as soon as possible. Registrations after July 1, 2013 will not be accepted.
