U of A Club Coach - AFA

The University of Alberta is looking for a qualified coach to lead their instructional fencing sessions for this year. The class time is scheduled for Sunday afternoons from 12:00 – 1:00 PM. The fall session starts the week of September 20th, and finishes on December 5th. Any interested coaches should forward their contact information and resumes to the AFA office. These will then be provided to the U of A. Potential applicants are encouraged to submit their application immediately.
Provincials 2011 - AFA

No bids have yet been received for the 2011 provincials. Clubs interested in hosting the 2011 Provincials should submit their bids to the AFA office immediately. Please note that competition dates may be instituted by the AFA office in order to ensure a proper fit in the 2010/2011 competitive schedule.

Bids for CSC's - AFA

The CFF has not received any bids for this year's CSC's. Deadlines for submissions are due toward the end of June. Contact the CFF or the AFA (info@fencing.ab.ca) for more information.
Last HP Camp of Season - AFA

Vadim has graciously volunteered to host one more HP camp this season and the camp will be open to ALL interested fencers. The camp will be held in Calgary at the Gladiator Fencing Club on June 26, 2010 from 11am until 2pm. The address is: Lower level (use West facing doors to enter) Badminton Alberta Centre (formerly the Patterson Community Centre) 60 Patterson Blvd SW,Calgary Although this camp is open to all, please confirm your attendance with Vadim at faofc@ yahoo.ca so that he can budget space accordingly.
