Coaching clinic June details (17/5/2012)

Coaching workships in Edmonton and Calgary will be divided into two parts: the Coaching Education session - following the syllabus of the Initiation to Community Sport - Animateur; and the Club and Sport Development model - presenting how the Armband instructional program and the LTAD all fit together. It is strongly suggested for beginner coaches to participate in both first and second part. The Fencing and Club Development session (2nd part) is open to coaches and club owners who seek further clarity of the LTAD and an avenue for club development. Foil training camp June - Richmond (17/5/2012)

The CFF is organizing a foil training camp, June 6-13, in Richmond, BC. This will be the beginning for a group of National Team hopefuls (NTH) who will start to work together on a regular basis throughout the training year. This camp will give an opportunity for these athletes to train with the National team. For more information, please see here.

Coaching clinic June (16/5/2012)

Mark your calendars - the AFA will be holding a coaching clinic on June 16th and 17th, in Edmonton and Calgary, with Manuel Belmonte. This will also be a great opportunity for both beginner and senior coaches to receive more information about the Armband program. Details and information sheet to follow shortly.
